What Is Holiday Commander Box League?

Magic: The Gathering—FINAL FANTASY Holiday Commander Box League offers an exciting Sealed league-style Commander experience. Players buy a Magic: The Gathering—FINAL FANTASY Play Booster box, build a 60-card Commander deck from it, and play league matches over the course of the event.

Event Date: Sunday, December 7th @ 12pm

Commander Box League Deck Rules

After players open their Play Booster box, they construct a 60-card Commander deck from the contents. Holiday Commander Box League promos may not be used in deck building.

• Decks may include multiple copies of cards opened from the Play Booster box.
• Any legal commander opened is allowed.
• Color identity rules in deck building are ignored; players may build decks with any colors they want, regardless of their commander's color identity. Note: commander color identity still applies when cards refer to color identity (for example, with Arcane Signet).

You must check in for the event using the companion app event code listed above. If you cannot show up for the event, please notify the store 24hrs before the event. No shows at the time of the event will be refunded. No exceptions.

If you are running a few minutes late please notify us at least 10 minutes before the start of the event to confirm if we can accommodate you. If we don’t hear from you at the start time of the event, you will be considered a “No show”.
